Who we are

This website is run by JTEC Machinery Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 12207559). Our registered office is Inspiration House, Williams Place, Cardiff Road, Pontypridd, CF37 5BH, United Kingdom.

What information we collect

Enquiries: when you fill in our contact form, email, phone or message us on WhatsApp, we keep your name, company, email address, phone number, country and whatever you tell us about the machinery you are interested in.
Customer records: if you buy, sell or hire a machine through us, we keep the details needed for quotes, invoices, delivery, export paperwork, warranty and after-sales support.
Website usage: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting provider’s logs and by cookies (see below).

How we use it

To answer your enquiry and send you quotes and information you have asked for (steps before entering a contract).
To supply machines, parts and service and to keep proper business records (performance of a contract and legal obligation).
To send occasional news about new and used machines to business customers and contacts. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in it or by emailing us (legitimate interests, or your consent where required).
To keep the website secure and understand how it is used (legitimate interests).

We never sell your information.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, plus a Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and show relevant adverts. Meta may use this information in line with its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who we share it with

Only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

our website host (Krystal Hosting Ltd, UK)
Microsoft 365 for email
our email newsletter service
Meta (Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp)
our accountants, banks, couriers, shipping and export agents
our regional partners, if you are in their area and want local support

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred abroad, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to a sale are kept for up to 3 years. Customer and sales records are kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or move it to another organisation. Email info@jtecmachinery.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
