Crushers
What is a tracked jaw crusher?
A jaw crusher squeezes rock, concrete and rubble between a fixed steel jaw and a moving one, breaking it down into smaller stone. “Tracked” means it sits on its own tracks, so it can drive on and off a low-loader and move around site without a crane or loader.
Which JTEC crusher is right for me?
How much diesel does a JTEC crusher use?
The JTEC 1063 uses around 10 litres an hour and the JTEC 963+ uses 8–9 litres an hour. Real fuel use varies with material, feed size, jaw setting and site conditions. Try the fuel calculator on the 1063 page to compare against your current crusher.
Can a JTEC crusher run on electric?
Yes. Every JTEC jaw crusher comes with Dual Power as standard. Run it on the John Deere diesel engine anywhere, or 100% electric from a 3-phase mains supply on site – with no diesel at all. More about electric crushing.
What can a jaw crusher crush?
Concrete, brick, demolition rubble and quarried rock. Jaw crushers are not made for soft or sticky material such as soil, clay or green waste – for those, a tracked screener is the right tool.
Can a JTEC crusher handle hard rock?
Yes. The JTEC 1063 crushes very hard dolerite in South Africa – up to five times stronger than the concrete most contractors crush – even when running on mains power only. Watch it working.
Can it crush reinforced concrete?
Yes. An overband magnet is fitted as standard to pull rebar and steel out of the crushed stone. The hydraulic drive can also run the jaw in reverse to clear a blockage. More about crushing concrete.
How big are JTEC crushers to transport?
Both crushers measure 11.42 m long, 2.50 m wide and 3.27 m high in transport. The JTEC 963+ weighs 26,000 kg and the JTEC 1063 weighs 28,000 kg.
Screeners
What is the difference between a crusher and a screener?
A crusher makes material smaller. A screener sorts it by size. Many customers use both: crush concrete or rock first, then screen it into graded products that sell for more.
Which JTEC screener is right for me?
The JTEC 412 is a compact, heavy-duty screener with two 12′ × 4′ decks and a CAT C2.8 engine – at 17.5 tonnes it moves without a permit in most countries. The JTEC SS80 combines a two-deck screen with a high-stacking conveyor that stockpiles up to 10.48 m high, so each pile holds more and your loader moves less.
What can I screen with a JTEC screener?
Topsoil, compost, quarried aggregates, crushed concrete and C&D waste. Because we build each machine by hand, we can set it up for your material.
